Free Cromia Copwl pattern

Cromia Cowl pattern.  

You will need 2 x 50g(2 x 110m) balls of Adriafil Cromia DK yarn or similar.

Knitting needles 4mm (UK8).

Finished measurement – 15cm wide, 120 cm long

Terminology

YO – yarn over needle.

SSK – double decrease . Slip 2 stitches as if to kit to right hand needle, knit1. Pass the 2 slipped stitches over the just worked stitch.

K - knit.

P – purl.

SL – slip the stitch.

Pattern

Cast on 43 sts with 4mm needles.

Row 1- sl1 (slip first stitch), yo, k19,SSK (double decrease), k19, yo, k1.

Row 2-  sl1, purl to the end.

Row 3 – as row 1.

Row 4 – sl1, k 20, p1, k 21.

Row 5 – sl 1, yo, p19, SSK (double decrease), p19, yo,k1.

Row 6 - sl1, knit 20, purl 1, knit 21.

These 6 rows form the pattern. Repeat until you have used both yarns or achieved desired length, cast off. Stitch the end together.
